Randy Gonzales Staff Writer The Hi-Los left Logan on March 1 and arrived to Orlando Florida on March 2. When the judges were done collecting their results, the Hi-Los managed to snatch 1st in Military, 3rd in Kick, and 4th in Officer -- impressive results! On arrival to Florida, Hi-Lo Emma Cox said the weather was already better than how it was back in Utah. Before it was the military dance, Cox said she had such an excitement deep down, urging her to dance. The Hi-Los managed to snatch 1st in Military, 3rd in Kick, and 4th in Officer -- impressive results! The first dance was the military competition around 7 a.m. They performed their Kick dance around 9 a.m. Then finally, they competed in the Officer Routine around 11 a.m. The songs were various but only were only instrumental music.
After all those dances, The Hi-Los returned back to their hotel to rest up and recover. They were eventually called back to the competition around 7 p.m. to do their dance routine. The dance routine song they used was I wanna hold your hand. Though the Hi-Los did compete on Sunday, it wasn't the whole team competing. The only competitions were soloists Emma McAllister, Hannah Johns, Maia Inn, and Hallie Hyde. Though they didn't place, they did perform very diligently. After all their tiring performances, on Monday their last day down in Florida, they spent it relaxing in Disney World. They had also attended Disney World previously on Thursday and Friday as it was complimentary of the competition. Cox said that, on the last day, she didn't want to leave Florida, because she got information from her contacts back in Utah that it had started to snow again. Then arriving back in Logan while it was snowing made her want to go back so hard.
