Thomas Darling Staff Writer Logan High has gone through a lot of change this year construction wise, and though it has been strenuous and inconvenient for many, some real progress is really starting to show. On October 17, LHS officially opened the doors to the new auditorium for its first assembly. The assembly was called NetSMARTz, and it informed students of how to safely use the Internet and stand up against bullying. The new auditorium is newly furnished with red fold-up seats all across the rows, and the light and sound system have been replaced to make for even better quality of show. This improved technology will be great for the upcoming musical this year, Crazy for You.
Musical practice has been rougher than in previous years, as the cast has only recently been able to use the new auditorium for rehearsal. Mrs. Mecham, the drama teacher at Logan High, said plans for the auditorium have been in place since last November. If this isn’t enough to impress you, did you know that David Archuleta is going to perform in Logan High’s auditorium this December 13 at 7 p.m.? Tickets are now on sale.
